Nick is a counsel in the firm's Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. Nick represents a variety of corporate entities, start-ups, entrepreneurs, private equity firms and venture capitalists regarding formation and operations, equity and debt transactions, finance, securities and company governance issues. Nick also specializes in intellectual property issues, federal and state commercial mortgage regulation and aircraft finance. A native Oregonian, Nick moved to Boise in 2006 and joined Perkins Coie in February 2012. In addition to his legal practice, Nick is raising a daughter, Abby, and volunteers his time with Kickstand, a local non-profit organization that helps connect, inspire and support entrepreneurs, and Boise Young Professionals, a program of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce focusing on Boise's vibrant community of young, urban professionals.
