Perkins Coie to Add Four IP Litigation Partners from Howrey
PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA (March 08, 2011) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that James F. Valentine, Daniel T. Shvodian, Christopher L. Kelley, and James C. Pistorino will be joining the firm as partners in the Patent Litigation Practice in the firm’s Palo Alto office.

Valentine represents corporate clients and universities in intellectual property litigation. He has practiced before the federal district courts, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the International Trade Commission. Shvodian specializes in matters concerning patent infringement, copyright violations, unfair competition, breach of contract and trade secret misappropriation. Kelley has led patent litigation teams in cases involving networking equipment, semiconductor fabrication, mobile telephony, CDMA applications, encryption, computer system architecture and other technologies. Pistorino represents corporate clients in intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation.
