New Denver Office

The firm is pleased to announce that the Denver office has officially moved to a new space at 1900 Sixteenth Street, Suite 1400. The office has an entire floor of the 400,000 square foot building near Union Station in Lower Downtown. 

The Denver office opened in 1997 and has grown considerably in the last 14 years.  Today, the office has nearly 30 lawyers.

The office serves a wide range of clients - including companies, trade associations and non-profit organizations.  Its attorneys work in a variety of practices, including litigation, telecommunications, white collar criminal defense, environmental and natural resources, franchise litigation, patent litigation, labor and employment, corporate and commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, real estate and product liability.

Most recently, former federal prosecutor, T. Markus Funk, joined the Denver office's Investigations & White Collar Defense group. Funk joined the firm from the U.S. Attorney's office in Chicago where he was part of the trial team in the landmark organized crime murder-racketeering conspiracy case dubbed “Operation Family Secrets,” the most extensive mob-murder racketeering case in U.S. history.

In May of last year, the Denver office also added three business attorneys, including partners Nate Ford, Jeff Beuche and Pete Kinsella.  Ford and Beuche joined the firm's Corporate Governance & Transactions practice, while Kinsella joined the firm's Licensing & Technology practice. All three attorneys joined Perkins Coie from Faegre & Benson.

Also, in August of the same year, Gene Branch joined the Denver office and the firm's Intellectual Property practice as partner from Townsend and Townsend and Crew.
