New CIO Gavin Gray Joins Perkins Coie

SEATTLE (April 1, 2010) - Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Gavin Gray has started as Chief Information Officer. Gray has extensive law firm technology experience as well as practice office experience, and joins the firm from Baker & McKenzie.
"I am confident that Gavin's strong technology and project management background and his experience working in a practice office and with people across geographic and cultural borders will serve our clients and us well," said Craig Courter, Firm Chief Operating Officer.
Gray was Executive Director of Baker’s Washington, D.C. office and was a member of their regional technology steering committee which worked closely with global IT leadership to prioritize technology initiatives across all North American offices. He also worked directly with practice groups and lawyers to advise on business processes and technology to enhance client service. Prior to joining Baker he was with McDermott, Will & Emery where he was responsible for developing and implementing technology solutions and served as a Project Manager and Business Analyst working with practice groups to ensure technology solutions were designed and implemented to support their practice.
