Mark Schneider is a partner in the firm's Litigation and Environment & Natural Resource practices. In over twenty years of legal practice, he has focused on environmental, natural resources and land use counseling and litigation and general commercial litigation.
Mark's practice involves the full range of environmental and natural resource issues. He assists clients with permitting, compliance and regulatory matters under state and federal land use and environmental statutes, including the National and State Environmental Policy Acts (NEPA/SEPA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), and the Endangered Species Act (ESA). He also represents clients in a wide variety of environmental litigation matters, including CERCLA and MTCA actions, natural resource damage claims, government enforcement actions, investigations and white collar defense, toxic tort, insurance recovery, and citizen suits. Additionally, he assists clients with due diligence investigations, audits, environmental management systems, environmental aspects of corporate and real estate transactions, strategies to address climate change issues, and greenhouse gas mitigation requirements.
