Meredith Weisshaar Receives Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award

Portland Associate Meredith Weisshaar received the Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award from Lewis & Clark Law School's Small Business Legal Clinic (SBLC). The SBLC provides business transactional legal advice to new and emerging businesses, primarily those owned by women, minorities and recent immigrants. The organization matches clients with business attorneys from the community who specialize in various areas of corporate law and provides consultations to clients in need of business legal services. Described by the SBLC as a "trailblazer for the SBLC and its clients," Meredith was chosen from among 75 attorneys who provided pro bono assistance to clients. Her work with the SBLC included volunteering at five pro bono clinics, and representing eight pro bono clients.
