Kevin McMurdo

Kevin McMurdo has served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Perkins Coie since 2002. He is responsible for the design, development and coordination of marketing, business development and sales efforts both across the firm and within key markets. 

Kevin has worked in professional services marketing since 1987, serving Pacific Northwest law firms as well as two international accounting firms – Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte.   He has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 1986, but does not maintain an active practice.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications (1971 - Chico State College), and a Master of Arts degree in rhetorical theory (1972 - University of Iowa), Kevin taught college-level classes in speech communications, theater and broadcast before moving into college administration.  He completed his law degree at Lewis & Clark College, Northwestern School of Law in 1985 and joined Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt, a Portland-based regional law firm in 1987 as the firm’s first Director of Client Relations.
