Jon G. Daryanani Partner

Jon Daryanani’s exceptional record of success in representing Fortune 100 companies and emerging and venture capital companies in high-stakes litigation, including serving as outside counsel to such companies with respect to employment and trade secret matters, has earned him the respect and recognition of his peers and clients. In 2023 and 2024, Jon was listed among the "Top 100 Lawyers" and “Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Jon is a partner with the Labor & Employment Law practice, and served as managing partner of the Los Angeles offices. Jon focuses his practice on all aspects of employment and labor litigation and client counseling, including trade secrets and employee mobility litigation. Drawing on his extensive experience, Jon represents his diverse client base in civil litigation, including class actions and administrative proceedings, involving wage and hour (PAGA), discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and misappropriation of trade secrets claims. Jon routinely partners with his clients to serve as a resource and counsel for all aspects of their business operations. In his work with employers, who include high-profile clients in business and media, Jon provides strategic planning on various employment matters, such as negotiation of executive compensation packages for his startup and private equity clientele. Jon’s representative clients, including The Boeing Company and Yamaha Corporation of America, operate in diverse industries, including manufacturing, technology, entertainment, social media, banking, private equity and energy.

As a former certified public accountant with a Big Four accounting firm, Jon draws on this experience to bring insight to his practice and routinely works with the mergers and acquisitions teams, conducting due diligence regarding employment issues in conjunction with the purchase and sale of California entities.
