Overview
Our Clients Perkins Coie represents project sponsors, utilities, developers, equity investors, contractors and lenders involved in the development, financing, construction, procurement and operation of infrastructure projects including ports, railroads, municipal water and waste treatment, airports and road transportation Infrastructure Projects We also have extensive experience representing transportation and other infrastructure clients in transactions involving a variety of arrangements and structures, including public-private partnerships and tax, general revenue, bond, and usage based toll financing arrangements. We have represented governments, leading exporters, developers and international contractors, and have deep experience in infrastructure projects including: toll roads, bridges, military housing, water and wastewater facilities, electrical distribution systems, and other assets where the success of a financing depends on significant host government involvement.Financing In addition to our experience handling traditional project finance transactions, we played significant roles in securing government grant and loan financing for a variety of energy and infrastructure projects under the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (the federal stimulus legislation), and have worked on government tax credit and tax benefit financing on a wide variety of client developments.
