Chambers USA Ranks 20 Perkins Coie Portland Attorneys Among Top Lawyers

PORTLAND, ORE. (June 10, 2011) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that 20 attorneys in its Portland office and six Oregon practices were recognized in the 2011 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. Nationwide, the annual directory once again ranked Perkins Coie as a top law firm in the United States with 100 attorneys ranked as leaders in their field and the firm recognized in 34 practice areas.

Chambers recognized Perkins Coie’s Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions, Environment, Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment, Commercial Litigation and Real Estate practice areas as leaders in Oregon. In addition, 20 attorneys from the firm's Portland office were ranked as top lawyers in their respective practices.  The rankings are the result of extensive surveys of in-house counsel and leading law firm partners.

Portland partners Roy Tucker and Stephen English were also recognized as "Star" individuals, which is a special ranking given to lawyers with exceptional recommendations in their field. In addition, Stephen English and Paul Fortino were ranked nationally in the category of Litigation: Trial Lawyers.
