The Trial of Salim Ahmed Hamdan: Constitutional Challenge to Executive Power and the First War Crimes Trial of a Guantanamo Detainee


On December 7, 2009, Perkins Coie attorneys Harry Schneider, Joe McMillan and Charles Sipos gave a presentation recounting their experiences serving as part of a pro bono team assisting the military defense counsel in the representation of Salim Ahmed Hamdan, one of the first Guantanamo detainees to be charged by the United States as a war criminal.
