George Colindres is the managing partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office and partners with his clients to drive transactions to closing and address problems pragmatically.
He serves as primary outside counsel for technology companies, providing guidance in matters including corporate governance, capital structuring, preferred stock and other equity financings, convertible promissory note and other debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions. He also advises venture capital firms, strategic investors, angels and angel groups, and other investors in connection with investments in portfolio companies and exit transactions.
George has developed experience with clients in a diverse array of industries. These include medical devices, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, digital health, food and beverage, gaming, internet and e-commerce, Internet of Things (IoT), semiconductor, telecommunications, clean technology, and real estate.
George is an active member of the Southern California Biomedical Council (SoCalBio) and serves on its Innovation Catalyst Program Screening Committee. He has also chaired Perkins Coie’s Los Angeles office Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee since 2013.
