Fabiola is a member of the Personal Planning group.  Her practice focuses on assisting expatriates in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and the United States with their international estate planning and estate and trust matters.  Her clients include U.S. citizens or green-card holders living abroad, U.S. citizens married to foreign nationals, Asian families and individuals with assets and beneficiaries in several jurisdictions including the United States.  Fabiola advises clients on the preservation and transfer of wealth to beneficiaries through wills, trusts, gifts, strategic use of other transfer devices, and proper planning for retirement and education.  She also advises on estate and trust administration and litigation involving U.S. personal representatives and beneficiaries.

Fabiola is also a member of the Business group.  She assists many individuals and foreign companies in various industries that are doing business in China.  Projects include setting up or winding down representative offices and wholly foreign-owned enterprises, reviewing and negotiating contracts, preparing applications to the Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and other government entities, advising on product recalls, and assisting clients with corporate due diligence matters.  Fabiola also assists clients with labor matters, including handling labor disputes, preparing local employee handbooks and policies, and dealing with sexual harassment and discrimination complaints.
