Ellen Sheedy is an associate in the firm's Business practice group. She focuses her practice on corporate governance, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, and nonprofit corporations. Ellen counsels clients on raising capital through public and private equity and debt offerings and on acquiring, restructuring and disposing of businesses and assets. She works with clients involved in various industries, including software, technology, energy, telecommunications and transportation. Ellen has also authored articles related to climate change law and Cleantech including, "Landmark Agreement - Publicly Traded Energy Company Agrees to Disclose Financial Risks Related to Climate Change," "The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act - Highlights of the 2009 Stimulus Bill," “Can Your Cleantech Business Get Stimulus Funds?” and "Climate Change Disclosure: SEC Announces Interpretive Guidance for Public Companies."
