PALO ALTO, Calif. (April 17, 2018) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Wendy Moore has joined the firm’s Corporate practice and Tax subgroup as a partner in the Palo Alto office.

Wendy focuses on advising both public and private companies on the securities, corporate, employment and tax issues that arise in her executive compensation practice. Due to her diversified practice, she will work closely with a number of the firm’s practices, including Emerging Companies & Venture Capital, Corporate Governance & Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions.

“Many of our attorneys have worked with Wendy for years, and we’ve long admired her exceptional work and strong reputation among peers in the industry,” said Bob Mahon, Chair of Perkins Coie’s Tax subgroup. “She brings nearly two decades of executive compensation and corporate governance experience to our team, and we are thrilled to have her on board.”

Wendy regularly guides clients through all stages of the corporate life cycle. She counsels emerging company clients on equity compensation structures, developing employment, equity, bonus, severance, negotiating executive agreements on behalf of employers and deferred compensation and chance of control agreements.

“Wendy is a well-respected attorney in the Bay Area and by the national bench, whose executive compensation experience blends well across various practices, including the firm’s Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice,” said Lowell Ness, Perkins Coie’s Palo Alto Office Managing Partner. “Her background and deep local roots make her a tremendous fit with our team. Wendy was previously a partner at Jones Day and earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and received her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
