Darvin Davitian focuses his practice in real estate transactions and business transactions.
In his real estate practice, Darvin assists clients in all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing of retail, office, industrial, hotel and other properties. Darvin also assists clients in the area of loan workouts and foreclosures of loans secured by real estate. His clients have included real estate developers and investors, real estate investment funds, companies with real estate interests, real estate borrowers and lenders, and special servicers. Darvin also has experience advising on real estate issues arising in corporate mergers and acquisitions.
In his business practice, Darvin has assisted clients in a broad range of business transactions, including business formations, the procurement and sale of goods and services (including energy commodities) for companies, unsecured loan transactions, the leasing of equipment for companies, and the acquisition and disposition of privately held businesses. In his energy commodity practice, Darvin has assisted clients in the purchase and sale of natural gas and power and has negotiated credit support agreements entered into in connection with such transactions. Darvin also has experience with financial energy transactions that are often entered into to hedge against price fluctuations in energy commodities.
