David Clarke, a Partner in Perkins Coie’s national Business Practice Group, focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies, middle market private businesses, public companies, venture funds and private equity funds. David's practice emphasizes corporate formations, venture capital and growth equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, public offerings and corporate governance. David works with emerging growth companies at all stages of development, from formation through liquidity and beyond, and serves as a key advisor on fundraising and strategic transactions. He also works with family-owned businesses in sale and recapitalization transactions, and represents public companies in M&A and governance matters. In addition to his corporate clients, David represents leading venture and private equity funds in portfolio company investments. David is a regular speaker on venture financing, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity topics.
