Dan Bagatell's practice focuses on appeals in patent cases and other disputes involving complex technology. Dan chairs the firm’s Chambers-ranked Federal Circuit patent appellate practice and regularly briefs and argues cases in appellate courts around the country. Dan also writes and edits critical trial-court papers such as Markman briefs, summary judgment motions, preliminary injunction motions, and post-trial briefs. Clients often enlist Dan to work on special projects such as amicus briefs, case analyses, and white papers. Dan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and is ranked Band 1 in the Chambers USA Nationwide Intellectual Property: Appellate rankings.
