David Neff Inducted as a Fellow into the American College of Bankruptcy

CHICAGO (March 15, 2010) - We are pleased to announce that David Neff, a partner in the firm's Bankruptcy & Workouts practice as well as the national co-chair of Perkins Coie's Hotels & Leisure practice, has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy.
Becoming a Fellow of this honorary organization is by invitation only. According to the American College of Bankruptcy, nominees are extended an invitation to join based on a proven record of the highest standards of professionalism and service to the profession. David was the only lawyer from the Seventh Circuit inducted in this year's class.
David is widely recognized as one of the most experienced hotel workout and bankruptcy lawyers in the country. He represents debtors, lenders, trustees, individual creditors and creditors' committees in all types of bankruptcies and has represented major parties in more than 30 hotel bankruptcy cases throughout the country as well as many out-of-court restructurings. Currently, David is representing three of the largest CMBS special servicers in more than 20 separate engagements involving more than 125 hotels with combined debt exceeding $1 billion.
David is a past president of the Chicago Bar Association Bankruptcies and Reorganization Committee and has spoken often at the Norton Bankruptcy Litigation Institute and for the American Bankruptcy Institute. David also is the past chairman of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, has authored numerous articles for hotel industry publications and has spoken frequently at hotel industry conferences.
David has been designated an Illinois Super Lawyer and has been recognized by ChambersUSA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business as one of the leading hotel lawyers in the country and one of the leading bankruptcy lawyers in Chicago.
