Perkins Coie Named Among Top Firms in Chambers USA 2007

(July 2, 2007) – Perkins Coie proudly announces that once again it has been ranked by Chambers & Partners, publishers of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, as a top law firm in the United States. Perkins Coie was recognized in the annual directory as a leader (Band 1 placement) in 11 practices areas with top rankings in eight key markets across the country, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Oregon and Washington. The rankings are the results of extensive surveys and interviews of in-house counsel and leading law firm partners. This year's rankings showcase a considerable increase over recognition from 2006. Last year, the firm was ranked in 24 areas with #1 placement in 13 of those practice areas, compared to this year's rankings in 38 areas with #1 placement in 14 areas. In addition, last year, 55 attorneys were highly ranked with 21 attorneys being recognized as leaders in their practice areas. This year, 67 attorneys received Chambers recognition, with 21 attorneys earning the Band 1, or top rank, in their practice areas.
