Effective mentoring is important to the growth and development of our lawyers as well as to the overall health of our firm. Under the firmwide Associate Career Mentor Program, associates in their second year of practice and beyond are paired with a formal mentor, typically a partner. The mentor takes an active role in the professional development of the associate and provides support and assistance to help the associate become an integral and active part of the firm. During an entry-level associate's first year of practice, each office and practice group provides a variety of mentoring opportunities to assist the associate with the transition to a legal practice at the firm.
