Bruce D. Stocks is a partner in the firm's Business practice. Bruce's practice emphasizes mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, recapitalizations, joint ventures and other corporate transactions, as well as the representation of borrowers in senior and subordinated debt financings. He has particular experience representing investors, private equity funds and companies in a variety of private equity transactions, from leveraged buyouts to venture capital investments.
Bruce regularly advises clients in the formation and structuring of business entities, and in related matters such as executive employment agreements, option plans and other equity participation arrangements, and shareholders' and investor rights agreements.
Bruce also has experience in the formation of private equity funds and advising private equity fund sponsors.
Prior to joining the firm Bruce was a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP.
