Andrew Grant provides strategic advice to his clients on complex commercial transactions, product innovation and market development, and other strategic operational matters. As a trusted advisor to his clients, Andrew takes the first call on matters vital to the strategic success of his clients.

Andrew is the firmwide chair of Perkins Coie’s Technology Transactions & Privacy Law practice, as well as its Outdoor and Internet & E-commerce industry groups. He focuses his practice on the technology industry, specifically interactive entertainment, including augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR), artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. He also emphasizes the retail industry, including consumer packaged goods, outdoor and luxury brands, and retailers.

Andrew advises his clients on various matters including, for technology clients, complex transactions such as patent and other licensing transactions, platform implementation, technology and intellectual property (IP) protection, and open-source software. For retail clients, he handles complex transactions including various patent and other licensing transactions, foreign and domestic manufacturing, product design, development and distribution, and e-commerce strategy.

Andrew represents many of the world’s most recognized brands that are changing the way people and businesses live, work, and play. They include Meta, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Epic Games, Google, Procore, 1QB Information Technology, Arc’teryx, Costco, Nordstrom, Nestle, and Superfeet.

In the community, Andrew currently serves on the board of directors of the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance.
